Sarah is a Library Associate for Gwinnett County Public Library. She coordinates tween programs, writing programs, and bilingual programs that utilize her proficiencies in Spanish and American Sign Language.
She started working in libraries in 2012. She has worked for GCPL for three years, and before that she worked for Lee University’s Squires Library in Tennessee and the Poudre River Public Library District in Colorado. Sarah is currently pursuing my Masters in Library and Information Science with Valdosta State University, with anticipated graduation in the summer of 2020.

Bilingual Programming
Spanish and American Sign Language
Sarah teaches English to Spanish-speakers with her weekly English In Your Language classes.
Sarah has also taught two five-week courses on ASL basics.

Tween Programming
Writing, STEAM, and literary programs for ages 8-13
Sarah has run a creative writing camp for tweens for the last three years, with over 200 cumulative attendees.
Her Hogwarts Summer Camp had 150 attendees over the course of five days.

Local, state, and national levels
Sarah has presented on bilingual customer service at the public library for the GCPL staff, at the Georgia Libraries Conference in 2018, and the Public Library Association conference in 2020.
